Care NW provides flexible support pathways ranging from lower-level supported living through to residential care, one-to-one support, and specialist high-dependency placements where required. Our services are designed to reduce instability, minimise crisis situations, and provide the structure and reassurance needed to support emotional recovery and long-term stability.
Support may include emotional wellbeing support, structured routines, behavioural support, communication support, independence-building, life skills development, community engagement, education and employment support, and support with developing positive relationships and coping strategies.
Our experienced teams understand that trauma responses can sometimes present through anxiety, withdrawal, emotional distress, low self-esteem, behaviours that challenge, difficulties with trust, or difficulties regulating emotions. We use proactive and supportive approaches, including Positive Behaviour Support and trauma-informed practice, to help individuals feel safe, reduce distress, and develop emotional resilience over time.
We work closely with families, social workers, commissioners, NHS services, psychologists, CAMHS teams, mental health professionals, and wider multidisciplinary teams to ensure support is coordinated, responsive, and aligned with each individual’s wider therapeutic and support needs.
Our goal is to provide safe and nurturing environments where individuals can rebuild trust, develop confidence, improve emotional wellbeing, and progress towards greater stability, independence, and positive long-term outcomes.
